Darwin Olympics: Woman’s Ex Steals Her Toilet Seat

The loss of a relationship can be tough, but the loss of your only toilet can feel pretty crappy. (see what we did there)

A woman posted to Reddit about breaking up with her boyfriend, and how he maturely handled it… By stealing her toilet!

Her old toilet had broken a few months ago, but her then-boyfriend said he could fix it, rather than wait on the landlord to take care of it, and he replaced the toilet.

After replacing the toilet, the woman says he’d always complain about how much money he spent on it.  So after she broke up with him, the first thing he said was “I’m taking the [effing] toilet!”  Obviously, she didn’t think he was serious, because WHO DOES THAT?!

She’d gone to bed while he was packing up the rest of his things, but when she woke up…. dude totally stole the toilet!

She even shared a photo of her bathroom where you can see the spot where the toilet should be.

While she did report the toilet theft to the police, it’s not currently clear on if they’ll be doing anything about it or not.  She does have a new toilet now, but in that interim the nice folks at a Taco Bell down the street let her use theirs.
