Darwin Olympics: Woman Takes Juicing to a Whole New Level

Darwinism (noun)
Dar·win·ism | \ ˈdär-wə-ˌni-zəm \
Definition of Darwinism: A theory that inherent dynamic forces allow only the fittest persons or organizations to prosper in a competitive environment or situation.

Meanwhile in China . . .

One woman took the whole juicing craze wayyyy too far when she decided to INJECT herself with fruit juice!

The 51 year old almost died last month when she mixed 20 different types of juice, and hooked herself up to an I.V.

*Please, please, please do NOT try this at home . . . this is not how juicing for health works . . .

The woman had a severe reaction that caused her skin to itch and her body temperature to spike, but she didn’t think it was serious enough to go to the hospital.

Thankfully, her husband got home later that night and, after learning what his wife had done, freaked out and got her to the hospital.

This chick almost died of multiple organ failure and sepsis had her hubs not had the common sense his bride seemed to be lacking. She did end up with liver, kidney, heart, and lung damage.

After 5 days in the ICU, she was discharged to recover further at home.

When asked why she did what she did, the woman told doctors she had thought the fresh fruits were “very nutritious” and didn’t really think it would hurt anything to inject them straight into her bloodstream.

She was wrong.

This year’s song of the summer is a ballad, not a banger. Here’s what that says about us

For the past 14 weeks and counting, the top Billboard spot has been held by a love ballad: Alex Warren's "Ordinary." As Berklee College of Music professor and forensic musicologist Joe Bennett notes, the February release is "a fair bit slower than the mean average for the Hot 100, or for a historical song of the summer."
