Meanwhile in Missouri . . .
This is a great example on why you shouldn’t leave your keys in the car while you run in somewhere real quick.
Danielle Reno made a stop at a bodega in in Kansas City, but left her SUV running . . . and obviously her ride was stolen.
While Danielle did file a police report, she decided not to call and cancel her credit cards that were in the vehicle at the time of the theft.
Why didn’t Danielle cancel her credit cards? To see if she could find the car thieves herself by monitoring any spending.
A couple of days later, Danielle saw a charge that was not her own used at a gas station near her house — so Danielle went in and started asking questions about the customers using her credit card.
The clerk shared she’d heard three women talking about going to Applebee’s, so Danielle headed to the nearest Applebee’s . . . sat down . . . and waited.
Eventually, the thieves drove up in her stolen SUV and walked in.
Danielle, with her spare key in hand, stole back her car . . . and live streamed the whole thing (and then called the police).
*There is profanity in the video so we can’t post it here, but feel free to check it out at your own discretion on Facebook.
Police arrived at Applebee’s and arrested the three thieves.
