Darwin Olympics: Woman Steals a Tesla . . . Didn’t Check the Battery

Meanwhile in Arizona . . .

One woman learned the hard way that we’re living in 2019 and not all vehicles run on gas.

Kathy Sain (60) from Payson noticed a Tesla parked outside a Subway and decided to steal it.

The owners quickly reported the theft, and police got into a high speed chase with Kathy.

Spike strips were used but proved to be ineffective on the ride . . . however, the car chase did come to a stop when the Tesla’s battery ran out of juice!

Authorities were able to arrest Kathy on charges of theft, fleeing, criminal damage, aggravated driving under the influence, and failing to appear on two outstanding warrants.
