Darwin Olympics: Woman Sets Apartment on Fire Burning Love Letters from Ex

Meanwhile in Nebraska . . .

The whole burning of an exes stuff thing may be a cathartic release beneficial to the emotional healing of some, but you still need to practice commonsense safety because when you play with fire you could get burned . . . or set your place on fire.

That’s what happened to Ariauna Lillard (19) of Lincoln, Nebraska.

She recently broke up with her boyfriend and attempted to burn the door shut on their relationship by setting fire to all the love letters he’d written her.

Not realizing the love letters were still smoldering while left on her carpet, Ariauna took a little nap, and woke up to her apartment in FLAMES!

While she was able to get out of her apartment safely, and firefighters could stop the blaze before it spread to other apartments, Ariauna was charged with negligent burning and will be in court next month.

. . . and this is why Ariauna can’t have nice things.
