Darwin Olympics: Woman Pulls Baby Alligator Out of Yoga Pants During Traffic Stop

Meanwhile in Florida . . .

This may be the most Florida story we’ve ever featured in the Darwin Olympics!

Officers in Punta Gorda, Florida thought they were coming up on a routine traffic stop earlier this week when the pulled over a vehicle around 3:30 AM for blowing through a STOP sign.

Driving the car was Michael Clemons (22), with Ariel Machan-Le Quire (25) in the front passenger seat.

The pair allowed authorities to search the car, and that’s when police found a bag of 41 small turtles inside.

Police asked if there was anything else in the car, and that’s when Ariel reached into her yoga pants and pulled out a foot-long BABY ALLIGATOR!!

The pair said they’d been collecting animals under and overpass, but turns out they violated the bag limits for reptiles. So, all the reptiles were seized by police and released back into nature, while Michael and Ariel received citations.
