Darwin Olympics: Woman Proving Ability to ‘Run in Heels’ Gets Hit by SUV

Meanwhile in Texas…

A woman and her friends were walking home from a bar one night in Austin, TX when one of them dared to doubt her ability to run in heels.

Challenge Accepted.

She takes off like The Flash, darts into an intersection…  and get hits by an SUV!!

The woman ended up in the hospital needing surgery for a brain bleed, but she is expected to recover.  (It’s like when you see someone trip and fall, but wait to make sure they’re OK before you laugh)

As for the driver of the SUV…  Well, that person didn’t stop. They did come back eventually, and was arrested for not stopping to render aid and hit & run.
