Darwin Olympics: Woman Fakes Medical Emergency for a Bigger Seat on a Flight

Meanwhile Florida . . .

Can we all please agree that it’s super selfish to mess up other people’s travel plans ESPECIALLY this time of year?!

One woman did just that over Thanksgiving weekend.

Chick was on an American Eagle flight that took off from Pensacola, Florida on Friday and wanted to be in a more roomy seat, but didn’t feel like shelling out the $19 for the upgraded Premium Economy seat.

So, she waits for the flight to get up in the air . . . and THEN claims she can’t breathe and needs a roomier seat.

The flight crew promptly obliged and moved her to a bigger seat, and alerted the pilot of the situation.

Well, the pilot was likeĀ ummmm not being able to breathe is kind of an issue, especially up here at cruising altitudeĀ and deemed the situation a MEDICAL EMERGENCY!

The pilot turns the plane around and lands back in Pensacola to get her some help . . . only to have the woman admit to lying about the situation because she wanted a a seat with more space.

She was kicked off the plane, immediately taken into custody and is likely to be looking at some criminal charges.

Looks like someone’s going to have to settle for road trips if she wants to go anywhere, because there is NO WAY she’s making it past TSA after a stupidly selfish stunt like this.
