Meanwhile in Arkansas…

23 year old Nicholas Lowe was arrested in Fayetteville, AR last month on a criminal impersonation warrant he’d earned in Ventura, CA.  Though, Nicholas wasn’t feeling the Arkansas jail and roped in his girlfriend to help with his get-out-of-jail scheme.

Nicholas’ girlfriend, 30 year old Maxine Feldstein, called the Fayetteville jail and pretended to be a deputy from California.  Maxine even went so far as to send over forged paperwork and the excuse that Nicholas should no longer be detained as jails are overcrowded and they were dropping “low priority extraditions.”

The plan actually seemed to work, and Nicholas was released from jail.

A few days later, the actual deputies from Ventura County called to arrange the pickup for Nicholas.  The not-so-much Bonnie & Clyde duo were quickly found and arrested on several charges.
