Darwin Olympics Winner: Woman Arrested (Again) When She Beats Up Her Public Defender

While we usually associate the word combo Liberty Bell in Philadelphia with freedom, there’s one Liberty Bell that isn’t so free.

A 35 year old Illinois woman named Liberty Bell can’t seem to keep her freedom.  In March, she was arrested after she locked herself out of a stolen car.  Then, in June, she was arrested for stealing a March of Dimes donation jar.  NOW she’s in trouble again for beating up her public defender.

Right before her court appearance last week, Liberty Bell attacked the woman who was SUPPOSED to represent her.  Luckily for Liberty Bell, her public defender is VERY dedicated to her clients and convinced the police to only charge Liberty with a misdemeanor when they actaully could have Ms. Bell with felony charges.

And all Jai can think of is Betty Gilpin‘s character, Liberty Belle, on the Netflix show “GLOW.
