Darwin Olympics: Thieves Steal SUV & U-Haul, Return It When They Realize What’s Inside

Meanwhile in New Mexico . . .

A couple of thieves stole an SUV with an attached U-Haul trailer from a Residence Inn last week – you know, thinking they’ll score some goods.

When they realized what they stole, they ditched the whole thing.

Police found the SUV & trailer with Oklahoma plates not too far from where it was taken, and NOTHING was missing.

That’s good, especially because the only item in the U-Haul trailer was a casket . . . and it wasn’t empty.

Authorities say the deceased man’s daughter and son-in-law were on their way to Kirtland, New Mexico to bury him.

Currently, no arrests have been made.
