Darwin Olympics: Thieves Steal ONLY Right-Footed Shoes

Meanwhile in Virginia . . .

Hopefully this wasn’t some elaborate plan to donate the shoes for a good cause for someone who is missing their left leg.  We’ll all really feel like jerks if that’s the case.

BUT, a store in Roanoke, VA suffered two break-ins over the summer, and the thieves stole a bunch of shoes – – – and almost all of the stolen shoes were right-footed shoes ONLY.

If you’ve ever noticed the displays at any shoe store, it’s typically only one shoe and not the full pair on display.  These people took the display shoes and never went back for the full pairs.

All in all, the store owner says the thieves ran off with 13 right-footed shoes, one pair of sneakers, a few shirts, hoodies, and a jacket.

Two people were involved in the first break-in back in July, and a 17 year old is now facing charges.  Seems like the other person did the second break-in solo.  Police are still searching for the second thief, and they did post the security footage online.
