Darwin Olympics: The Great Deli Meat Heist of 2018

Meanwhile in Ohio . . .

A deli worker named Catherine Brenick (36) had been working at the same grocery store in Bolivar, OH for the past five years.

For the most part, she was all about the ham, but occasionally went for salami.

Apparently, that’s when she started shaving off a little extra meat for herself. About three to five slices to be exact.  Every day.  For five years.

That adds up to Catherine stealing . . . ahem, embezzling . . . around $9.2K worth of deli meat.

Once the store caught on to what Catherine had been doing, they promptly fired her, and alerted authorities.  She is now facing charges for theft.
