Darwin Olympics: Subway Employee Robs Her Own Store to Teach Coworkers a Lesson

Meanwhile in New Mexico . . .

The scene opens at a Las Cruces, New Mexico Subway where we see a man working. It’s about 7 PM on a Monday evening.

All of a sudden . . someone killed the lights. The restaurant goes dark, and two masked intruders bust their way inside the restaurant, threatening the worker and straight up rob the place.

The masked invaders were identified as a man and woman by their voices when they were yelling at the Subway employee . . . but something about one of the voices was familiar.

The employee had heard the female voice before.

It was none other than his 22 year old coworker, Lorena Marin.

The Subway employee on the job called the police after the masked duo left and reported the crime.

Police tracked down Lorena, and the guy she was with — 19 year old Angelo Espinosa.

The pair admitted to the robbery, but Lorena explained to police that there was actually a good reason behind their law breaking shenanigans.

Lorena explained that she “wanted to teach one of the employees a lesson about what could happen late at night in that part of town.”

Well, lesson learned.

Lorena and Angelo were both arrested for robbery.
