Darwin Olympics: Speeding Driver Thought He Could out Drive Police

Meanwhile in Indiana . . .

A state trooper was sitting on the shoulder of an Indiana interstate, monitoring traffic, when he clocked a 2002 Acura cruising over 100 miles per hour in a 55 mph zone.

The driver of the speeding car then went from 116 mph to gunning it at 140 miles per hour when the trooper caught up to pull him over.

One hundred and forty miles per hour . . . in a fifty five zone . . . there is NO reason to EVER be going that fast on public roads!!

Seriously . . . who does this jerk think he is?!

Moving on . . .

Speed Racer was weaving in and out of traffic and the high speeds, even blowing right through a traffic light, and passing cars on the shoulder.

The driver, identified as Dino Lorenzo (20) of Dyer, Indiana eventually brought his ride to a stop at Central Avenue where he was arrested and taken into custody.

Here’s the thing . . . Dino actually acknowledged to authorities that he thought the Indiana State Patrol cruisers were running on V6 engines, and was legit surprised the trooper caught up to him.

The 20 year old speed demon was arrested on charges for resisting law enforcement, reckless driving, driving with a suspended licence, speeding, unsafe lane movement, failure to signal lane changes . . . and was transported to the county jail in Crown Point, Indiana.

Slow. Your. Roll. Dude!
