Darwin Olympics: Scammer Scams the Wrong Elderly Couple

Meanwhile in Jamaica . . .

A scammer really picked the wrong elderly couple in D.C. a few years ago. Turns out, the elderly man was the former head of BOTH the FBI and the CIA!

William Webster (94) and his wife, Lynda, received a call about 4 years ago from some guy threatening to set their house on fire or even shoot the couple if they didn’t pay him thousands of dollars.

Not only is William a former head of the FBI and CIA, but is quite a LEGEND in law enforcement, heading up the FBI 1978 – 1987, then the CIA 1987 – 1991.

So, William immediately called the FBI after he got the first threatening phone call, and then kept them updated on following calls with Lynda even getting an agent to listen in on one of the calls.

Authorities easily traced the calls to Keniel Thomas (29) of Jamaica.

Here’s the thing . . . Keniel flew to New York in 2017 to visit a friend, and was instantly arrested.

Criminal – – Silver Platter – – SERVED!

Dude’s been sitting in jail ever since and was just sentenced to 6 years in prison for trying to scam the elderly couple, but they also found that he’d successfully scammed several other elderly people as well.

Once his sentence is over, he’ll be deported back to Jamaica.
