Darwin Olympics: Pedestrians Pose as Bus to Cross Vehicles-Only Bridge

Meanwhile in Russia . . .

Some pedestrians really wanted to cross the mile-long bridge that had a strict vehicles-only policy.

So, the group came up with a plan — to disguise themselves as a bus using pieces of cardboard to help with the group costume.

It’s called the Zolotoy Bridge, opened in 2012, but banned pedestrians from using it in 2015 when inspectors determined the walkways were too narrow to meet safety regulations.

Oh . . . and someone captured it on video!
