Darwin Olympics: News Crew Gets Plot Twist with Real-Time Crime

Meanwhile in New York . . .

Breaking the law is not OK, but if you are allegedly going to attempt a jewelry heist, maybe take a look at your surroundings.

A few robbers tried an armed smash and grab at a jewelry store in Manhattan – in the middle of broad daylight.

Reports say the men displayed firearms, as two of them used hammers to smash into a display case.

An armed security guard pulled his weapon and approached the suspects. Two of the dudes took off running.

Meanwhile, down the street . . . a news crew just happened to be out working on a story regarding the recent heat wave, and saw it all go down.

The camera man was able to get the suspects on film, with one of the runners even circling back and walking RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA!!

Police had arrived on the scene pretty quick and one suspect was taken into custody inside the store, and working to track down the other two thanks to knowing what they look like and having footage of the robbery).
