Police in Green Bay wanted to try out a new tactic to scare of shoplifters, but it didn’t quite work as planned.
The idea was to place life-sized cutouts of the police chief in stores to deter theft. Shoplifting is down 5% now, but there was one theft it didn’t stop.
One of the life-sized cutouts of the police chief was STOLEN!
Authorities are still working to track down the thief.
(Ummm . . . People can typically tell the difference between a cut-out of a human and an actual human being, right?)
