Darwin Olympics: Ikea Staff Open Store to Find Fugitive Sleeping in the Bedding Department

Meanwhile in Sweden . . .

Staff at an Ikea in Uppsala (North of Stockholm) showed up to work one morning and came across a fugitive sleeping in the store’s bedding department!

The crew came across the 25 year old in the middle of a deep REM cycle. They called the police, totally unaware the dude was wanted for another incident.

Officers showed up a little after 5 AM and discovered it was someone they’d been looking for with an outstanding warrant for arrest.

No word on what the original crime was, but dude was arrested and transported to Stockholm to answer for those charges, and of course tresspassing at the Ikea store after hours will be added to the list.
