Darwin Olympics: Guys Tries to Steal a Whole House

Meanwhile in California . . .

Some guy had quite the borderline-epic home theft plan — as in he tried to steal the whole home!

Ronald Griffin (59) showed up at a home in Los Angeles, CA back in January and was caught messing with the locks by the property’s gardener.

Spring rolls around and Ronald finds his way back to the house, this time with a LOCKSMITH, and they start attempting to change the locks (they actually did get one lock changed)!

Other employees of the home owner called the police and claimed he was trespassing, but Ronald also called the police to claim the others were the trespassers . . . and he could prove it!

That’s right — Ronald had the deed to the house!

That’s also right — the deed Ronald had to the house had been FAKED!

Oh, by the way . . . that house Ronald tried to strait up steal . . . belonged to HALLE BERRY!

Ronald was arrested and hit with charges of a felony count of ‘procuring and offering a false warranty deed’ and petty theft.

Ronald claims he had no idea it was Halle Berry’s house, and we also believe he might be confused on how California Squatters Rights actually work.
