Darwin Olympics: Guy’s Failed ‘Mission Impossible’ Style Target Heist

Meanwhile in Texas . . .

This guy’s motto must be, “If Tom Cruise can do it, I can do.”  Sir, you are NOT Tom Cruise.

Dustin Ammons (37) of Kyle, TX decided to make a late night Target run the other night. It didn’t matter that the store was closed, he wasn’t planning on paying for anything.

Dude totally tried to pull a “Mission: Impossible” style heist by cutting a hold in the roof and lowering himself down into the store with a rope, harness and grappling hook.

Once inside the building, Dustin because a lot less elegant and smooth and just started smashing electronics cases and grabbing stuff.

He also forgot about to cut the surveillance cameras which captured footage of him ransacking the super store (Tom Cruise wouldn’t have missed that part, guy).

Dustin also did have an escape route planned because when police arrived, they found him trying to hide behind a shoe rack.

He’s now facing burglary and felony criminal mischief charges.
