Darwin Olympics: Guy Tries to Steal a Motorcycle, Gets Caught When He Falls Off

Meanwhile in Wisconsin . . .

A guy in Madison, WI had just arrived home and parked his motorcycle in his driveway when a stranger popped out of nowhere with a knife . . . demanded the keys to the bike and demanded the police not be called.

The victim pulled a commonly taught defense tactic and threw his keys in one direction while running away in the other direction and called 911.

The suspect-dude jumped on the bike and tried to get it started, but by this time the police were arriving on the scene.

Dude tried to make his getaway . . . and instead, accidentally pops a wheelie and totally fell off the bike.

He then tried to make his getaway on foot, but he didn’t get very far before authorities were able to arrest him and toss him in jail.

Shout out to the Madison, WI police officers who wrote this stellar report on the situation . . . “It turns out a speedier, and potentially much more effective getaway, was stymied by sticky starter button. The victim explained to officers the one on his bike his somewhat problematic and it takes some proper finessing before you’re good to go.”
