Darwin Olympics: Guy Tries to Race Other Car . . . Doesn’t Realize It’s a Police Officer

Meanwhile in Florida . . .

Some guy was driving down the road when he came upon another motorist. Dude revved his engine, trying to entice the other driver into an impromptu road race.

Unfortunately for the dude that wanted to race, that other driver was a Clearwater police officer.

Guy was pulled over and identified as Connor Michael Proleika (20), then promptly arrested on a charge of racing on a highway (a misdemeanor) . . . and that arrest was a violation of his current probation due to previous charges of grand theft and possession of a controlled substance (felonies).

Apparently Connor told the officer he “was just trying to go fast and didn’t know [he] was a police officer,” as stated in the police report.
