Darwin Olympics: Guy Throws Screws on Road to Prevent Ex from Seeing New Boo

Meanwhile in Minnesota . . .

One man’s plan to stop his ex-girlfriend from seeing her new boyfriend had a bit more collateral damage than he’d intended.

Jeffrey Caouette (63), who lives near Minneapolis, recently split up with his girlfriend.

Not long after, the ex got a new man in her life, and Jeffrey wasn’t feelin’ that . . . so, he threw thousands of screws on the road near her house — in an effort to prevent her from driving to see the new guy (because, obviously).

While it’s not clear if the ex ever fell victim to Jeffrey’s cartoon-level shenanigans, we do know that roughly 150 other people did!

. . . But wait, there’s more . . .

This was not an isolated incident. Jeffrey had been putting screws on the road by his ex’s home every other day for two months! In August alone, guy purchased over 12,000 screws!

So many people had to replace ALL FOUR of their tires after driving over them, and some had to replace their tires multiple times.

Jeffrey’s facing a felony charge for damage to property over $1,000, but more charges will likely be tacked on as well. (Sorry, had to do it.)
