Darwin Olympics: Guy Shoots Self in Foot Trying to Kill a Cockroach

Meanwhile in Michigan . . .

A 50 year old Detroit man had a cockroach situation in his home.

Guy tried to kill the bug by throwing his shoe at it. The thing is, that shoe was also where he kept his gun, and forgot to remove the weapon when he tossed it at the bug.

The gun, a revolver, fell out of the shoe and accidentally discharged when it hit the ground, totally shooting dude in his foot.

Question #1: How do you forget there’s a gun in your shoe . . . Question #2: How can you not tell the shoe is significantly heavier than it should be . . . Question #19: Who keeps a gun in a shoe . . . Question #27: Since when does throwing a shoe at a bug work within the first couple throws, anyway . . . Question #43: What went through the 911 operator’s head when they received a call like this . . . Question #58: Repeat Question #2 again . . .

Authorities would not confirm nor deny the accidental, non-fatal shooting was all because of a bug, but did state the man was in stable condition and recovering in hospital.
