Darwin Olympics: Guy Jumps in Well to Say He Did It

Meanwhile in Florida . . .

First responders in DeLand, Florida got a call to rescue a man that was stuck in a 30-feet deep well.

No, this man did not fall in. Dude climbed in. . . just to say he did it.

Volusia County Fire Rescue Battalion Chief Scott Smoak stated the guy was stuck for about an hour before being pulled up to safety, after realizing he couldn’t pull himself out.

Smoak shares the man suffered some bumps and bruises, but is alright for the most part.  The Chief adds that this well is only one of many in the area and they need barriers around to “keep people from going down in these things.”
