Darwin Olympics: Guy Gets Drunk Before Turning Himself in to Authorities

Meanwhile in Texas . . .

A guilty conscious got the better of one guy when he decided to turn himself in to police for violating his parole.

Billy Bob Hall (59) of Dallas was feeling pretty nervous about returning back to jail, so he decided to get a dose of liquid courage and pounded seven Budweiser beers (if you’re keeping track, that’s one more beer than a 6-pack . . .) and get DRUNK before going to the police station.

Dude shows up, totally lit, and it turns out the police weren’t even out looking for him. It’s not clear why Billy Bob thought he’d violated his parole, but there were ZERO warrants out for his arrest.

The officers would have let Billy Bob go, except by that point he was so drunk that authorities determined he was a danger to himself and others . . . and arrested him for public intoxication.

Apparently, the public intoxication charge DID violate his parole, and now Billy Bob is heading back to jail.

So there’s that . . .
