Meanwhile in Pennsylvania . . .
One man’s not-so-master plan to rob a bank was quite possibly foiled by his overthinking of . . . ummm . . . the plan.
Luke Dell (35) of Beavercreek, OH planned to rob a bank in PA. He had some serious plan. Big Plans. Complicated Plans.
First . . . dude was going to steal a license plate from another car and put it on his ride.
Then . . . he would don a “realistic” old man mask.
Next . . . Lukey boy would hit up a Bob Evans restaurant and give them a fake tip about an active shooter and bomb threat at TWO nearby schools.
Finally . . . he’d wait for police to be distracted by the school threats and that’s the cue to go and rob the bank.
Problem with the plan was, the Bob Evans employees weren’t exactly clear on their roles in his heist and, instead of just calling the police to tell them about the threats, they also told authorities about Luke and described his car.
Police pulled Luke over on his WAY TO THE ROBBERY!!
Dude was arrested on SEVERAL CHARGES — including terroristic threats, threat to use weapons of mass destruction, and theft of a licence plate.
No, the bank robbery was not a charge as that part of the plan never actually happened.
So there’s that.
