Darwin Olympics: Guy Attacks the Wrong Person Over Plastic Straws

Meanwhile in Florida . . .

Daniel Taylor may be 40 years old, but dude sure does seem to have the temper of a volatile toddler.

While visiting his local McDonald’s, Daniel became incensed when he couldn’t locate a straw.

So what did he decide to do?  Dude lunged at one of the McD employees!

Another McD patron named Brenda Biandudi recorded a video of the incident, and shared that Danny-boy became angry and abusive when informed of a new St. Petersburg law requiring customers to specifically request a plastic straw.

Brenda shares, “[The employee] told him that it’s the law now that they’re not supposed to have the straws in the lobby. He said there’s no such law.”

Here’s the thing, though . . . Dude went after the WRONG employee!

The employee on the receiving end of Daniel’s wrath was 20 year old Yasmine James, who knew how to defend herself immediately after being grabbed by the shirt and pulled forward.

Yasmine punched the guy repeatedly, gaining the upper hand before a coworker stepped in.

Dude was arrested and is facing two charges of battery.  According to the arrest affidavit, Daniel kicked another female employee in the stomach while being escorted out of the building.

Yasmine is currently on leave and receiving workers’ compensation.  She told a news outlet, “My family, they know how to box. My big cousin used to box professionally … I just know how to fight. You know, I know how to protect myself.”
