Darwin Olympics: Groomsman Accidentally Stabs the Groom

Meanwhile in Florida . . .

If you could go back to the day of your wedding and remove any members of the wedding party, would you?  We’re sure one newlywed couple would say “YES!”

Last month in Key West, Nicolas Camargo married the love of his life, but the day didn’t quite end happily ever after.

During the reception, and after a round of shots, groomsman Jovanny Arredondo pulled out a switchblade and started messing around with it (because, obviously).

The groom asked his buddy to knock it off, but Jovanny continued to play around with it and started making stabbing motions . . . and accidentally stabbed Nicolas in the thigh!

Jovanny panicked and tried to flee the scene by jumping off a second-floor balcony, hit his head, and needed to be airlifted to a hospital in Miami.

The groom didn’t press charges on his buddy over the accidental stabbing, but Jovanny did break two railings when he leapt off the balcony, causing about $1,100 worth of damage.

So, even though his buddy didn’t press charges, Jovanny was officially arrested this past Tuesday for felony criminal mischief.
