Darwin Olympics: Fugitive Turns Himself In for Better Mug Shot

Meanwhile in Texas . . .

One fugitive would rather have a decent photo on social media than stay in hiding.

His name is Ahmad Ibrahim, a 20 year old in northern, TX.

Last week, the local sheriff’s department posted a photo of Ibrahim because he was wanted for drug possession, which violated his probation.  Problem was, they used an old mugshot, and Ibrahim was NOT feeling it.

Not only did Ibrahim comment on the Randall County Sheriff’s Office Facebook Page, he went down to the precinct to update his mugshot!

Though Ibrahim was promptly arrested and was hit with three additional, including possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

The good new . . .   Ibrahim was able to get that updated mugshot

As Berklee College of Music professor and forensic musicologist Joe Bennett notes, the February release is "a fair bit slower than the mean average for the Hot 100, or for a historical song of the summer."
