Darwin Olympics: Dude Steals Dead Neighbor’s Debit Card for Pizza

Meanwhile in Wales . . .

If you’re going to commit fraud, at least get more bang for someone else’s buck — But for real, maybe just don’t commit fraud.

Robert Sharkey is a 24 year old who noticed his neighbor’s mail piling up.

That’s when Robert decided to break down his neighbor’s door to check on her. One would think it was a good dead he was doing, but NOPE.

Robert found his 68 year old neighbor had died in her apartment.

Rather than calling the police to report the death, dude had another idea . . .

He STOLE his dead neighbor’s debit card!

Over the next two years, Robert used the debit card every single day, in the exact same way – – Ordering a medium anchovy pizza from Domino’s.

Oh, and he also used the card to pay for his cell phone and other bills, AND he kept paying his neighbor’s bills to keep her power on so no one else would realize the woman had died!

Dude wound up stealing about $15K from her, with $8K solely being spent on pizza.

Eventually, he got busted and was just convicted of 11 counts of FRAUD!  Robert is still waiting to be sentenced, but jail time is highly likely.
