Darwin Olympics: Dude Moves a Cop Car and Gets a DUI

The saying “no good deed goes unpunished” could not be more true with this one.

Meanwhile in Arizona . . .

Some guy named Steven Engber (31) in Scottsdale was coming home from a night out where he had been partaking in a few adult beverages when he noticed a police car parked in the road with the lights on, but there were no officers inside.

Good ol’ Stevie boy decided to be helpful and simply move the squad car out of the way.

Dude totally jumped in the driver’s seat and proceeded to “correctly” park the car for them.

Steve moved the car to a nearby lot , and then proceeded to walk away. The officers WATCHED him do it! Turns out the cop car wasn’t abandoned . . . They were just responding to a call at a nearby business.

Steve told the officers her was just trying to help, you know, since the police car was blocking a whole lane of traffic.

Common sense would tell any of us . . . well, most of us . . . that you can’t just hop in a cop car like that! It also didn’t help Scuba Steve’s case that his blood alcohol level was TWICE the legal limit!

So, now dude is straight up facing charges for driving under the influence, and unlawful means of transportation.

Check out his mugshot . . . other than the whole DUI thing and totally hopping into a cop car, dude seems like he might be an actually good guy . . . just not super good at using his common sense. Maybe his parents didn’t read him the Berenstain Bear books when he was a kid.
