Darwin Olympics: Dude Breaks Into Sheriff’s Office to Get Arrested, Brings Donuts

Meanwhile in Washington . . .

What is with the whole “I’d rather go to jail than [insert option that really shouldn’t be worse than jail]” mindset?!?

First, there was the kid who stabbed his brother because he’d rather go to jail than spend 8 hours in the car with him . . . and now this —

A man (26) in Fairwood, Washington broke into the county sheriff’s office by shattering a window, all in an effort to be arrested because he worried that if he didn’t go to jail, he might murder his roommate.

However, guy figured the police would be upset with him and the whole breaking-a-window thing, so he came with donuts in tow — as a peace offering (because, obviously).

No word if the donuts helped the officers be less mad about the whole thing, but dude’s overall plan worked to be arrested as he was, in fact, arrested for malicious mischief and trespassing.
