Darwin Olympics: Dude Beats His Own Car with a Bat

Meanwhile in Michigan . . .

Look, we’ve all had frustrations and problems with our vehicles, but this dude is being so extra!

Chad Johnson, a 33 year old in northern Michigan, drives an old car that is constantly breaking down on him.

Last month, Chad totally Hulked-out during one of his car’s episodes and took a baseball bat to it. Like, super hardcore.

A passerby saw what was happening and contacted authorities, who pulled up just as Chad was driving away . . . so his car couldn’t have been in that bad of shape.

Upon pulling Chad over, police realized he was drunk AND had an open container in the car, all while driving on a suspended license, and two prior DUIs on his record.

When asked why he beat is car with a bat, Chad admitted to just being angry and over the car issues, and just “flew off the handle.”

Because of his previous impaired driving arrests, this time, Chad will be charged as a “habitual offender,” and could be facing up to 5 years in prison.

This year’s song of the summer is a ballad, not a banger. Here’s what that says about us

For the past 14 weeks and counting, the top Billboard spot has been held by a love ballad: Alex Warren's "Ordinary." As Berklee College of Music professor and forensic musicologist Joe Bennett notes, the February release is "a fair bit slower than the mean average for the Hot 100, or for a historical song of the summer."
