Darwin Olympics: Drunk Naked Guy Sets House on Fire Trying to Bake Cookies

Meanwhile in Florida . . .

A gentleman had just wrapped up some day-drinking when he had a mad hankering for some cookies.  So he decided to bake some, well sort of.  He tried making them on his Foreman Grill.

Firefighters came to his home early evening and saw smoke coming from the Niceville, FL local’s house.  Drunk Guy came to the door NAKED, apologized for the smoke and ran back inside.  It wasn’t exactly clear at the time if he knew is house was on fire.

Once the rescue crew got Drunk Guy out of the house, he admitted to drinking and smoking pot, and told the police on the scene he was hungry and decided to make cookies on his Foreman Grill.  He felt his only mistake was forgetting that the cookies were cooking . . .

He tried to smother out the fire with some towels, but those caught on fire and Drunk Guy was too lit to realize the fire was spreading.

While firefighters did manage to put it out, they did acknowledge that Drunk Guy was dangerously close to succumbing to smoke inhalation.
