Darwin Olympics: Couple Learns Vigilantism Only Works in Movies

Meanwhile in California . . .

There’s a reason why we don’t regularly hear stories about real life vigilantes — because it only works out well in the movies.

A couple in Visalia (about 40 miles outside Fresno) were so fed up with thieves steal bikes form their neighborhood, they decided to take matters into their own hands.

For several moths, Corey Cronutt (25) and Savanna Grillo (29) would leave a bike on their front lawn to lure thieves into stealing it . . . then, the couple would chase the bike thief down and BEAT THEM WITH BASEBALL BATS!!

Not. Even. Joking.

Between July and November, the seriously disturbed (but maybe well-meaning) couple lured, caught, and beat at least four bike thieves — even though their neighbors say the number is way higher!

Get this, some of the neighbors approved of the so-not-bat-man-bat-woman (not to be confused with the DC comic book characters Batman & Batwoman) duo’s shenanigan’s, however the couple got busted after posting security footage of the events on YouTube to get likes!

Ugh!

Tweedle Dumb and Tweedle Dumber are looking at charges for conspiracy and assault with a deadly weapon. As for the bike thieves . . . none were arrested because Corey and Savannah never filed any police reports about the attempted thefts.
