Darwin Olympics: Couple Gets Hit by Car After Lying In the Middle of the Road

Meanwhile in Florida . . .

The EPIC lunar eclipse (AKA Super Blood Wolf Moon) happened Sunday night . . . but two people chose the wrong spot to enjoy the view.

A police officer in West Palm Beach was driving through a park around 11:30 PM Sunday night, right at the height of the eclipse when he hit a couple speed bumps.

Only, they weren’t speed bumps but a couple of 24 year olds laid down on the road while looking up at the sky!

Fortunately, the officer was only going about 5/mph so both of the 24 year olds will be OK, but they did have to be rushed to the hospital for “non-life-threatening injuries.”

Unfortunately, the police officer had to be placed on administrative leave while the department investigates.

This is quite possible a case of Darwinism at it’s finest, and that’s why both 24 year olds are today’s winners in our Darwin Olympics.
