Meanwhile in Alabama . . .
Let’s be real for a moment — NO ONE throws away wads of cash . . . so, if you come across some bills in a trash can, chances are they might be counterfeit.
Some garbagemen doing their rounds spotted a bunch of fake $20 and $50 bills in a customer’s trash can.
RED FLAG!
Clearly they were counterfeit bills, so the garbagemen reported it to authorities.
The owner of the trash can . . . and those counterfeit bills . . . was Christopher Shock (32) of Huntsville, Alabama.
Turns out the bills he tossed were rejects from a test run.
Thing is, those forged bills looked pretty real, but after being pulled from the trash, upon further inspection, the counterfeit money was printed on regular printing paper . . . one of which was printed on the back of a Receipt from the Alabama Pardons and Paroles department . . . with his Chris’s full name and date of birth on them!
No getting out of this one dude!
Police are investigating, and it looks like this guy has been doing the whole counterfeit money thing for quite some time — they think somewhere between $10K – $30K of Chris’s fake bills are already in circulation.
The penalty for forgery in Alabama is 20 years in prison PER BILL!
So . . . yeah . . .
