Darwin Olympics: Burglar’s Getaway Truck Gets Stuck in Manure

Meanwhile in Minnesota . . .

Police in Stearns County, MN received a call about a burglary on a farm.  Once our friends in blue made it to the scene of the crime, they noticed the burglar didn’t make it too far.

The burglar in question, 29 year old Matthew Bloomquist, got his pickup truck stuck . . .  In a BIG pile of manure!!

But wait there’s more.

Matthew tried to run away, but got stuck, WAIST-DEEP in the cow mud, even losing his shoes in the pile.  That’s when the 29 year old burglar decided to just give up.

Police found him standing next to the pile, barefoot, covered in manure all the way up to his waist.  Matthew was arrested for burglary and possession of stolen property.

We wonder who lost the round of Paper-Rock-Scissors and had to transport the stinky burglar in their squad car.
