Darwin Olympics: Burglars Butt Dial 911 During Getaway

Meanwhile in Texas . . .

Yay for technology on this on — Three guys broke into a Sugar Land, TX Best Buy over the weekend.

While they did set off the alarm, they were able to grab and get away before police arrived.

They may have gotten away with it, if it weren’t for one of the burglars somehow managing to butt-dial 911 while in the getaway truck.

The 911 operator could only hear car noises, so they pinged the cell phone and noticed it was speeding away from the Best Buy.

Authorities easily figure out they were the Best Buy burglars and went after them in what turned into a high speed chase.

Eventually, they guys bailed on the truck and took off on foot. Authorities were able arrest two of the thieves, but the third one got away.
