Darwin Olympics: Bank Robber’s Penchant for Public Transportation Foils His Getaway

Meanwhile in Washington . . .

There’s something to be said about commitment to public transportation . . . but . . . really, dude?

In Seattle, some 55 year old dude robbed a bank, then tried to use a CAB as his getaway car.

The police witnessed the guy jumping into the taxi with the cab driver not realizing at first he had just become a getaway driver.

Police were following the cab, so the dude decided to ditch the yellow ride . . . and proceeded to continue his getaway by jumping on a public BUS!

Dude only made it a few more blocks before officers stopped the bus and were able to place the public transportation bank robber under arrest.
