An Iowa City man named Daniel Burleson (20) wanted to get his underage drinking on, and got a fake ID.
He was at the bar when police officers started doing a sweep through and checking everyone’s IDs.
Daniel gave the officers his real ID . . . the one that said he was only 20 . . . but they managed to catch a peek of the fake ID in his wallet.
The fake ID . . . the one he used to get the adult beverages he was months too young to partake in . . . had his name listed as . . . wait for it . . .
MCLOVIN!!!
We kid you not.
The fake ID was a Hawaii driver’s license with the name McLovin printed on it . . . AND included the picture of McLovin on it!
If you’ve never seen the movie “Superbad,” you probably have no idea why this is quite possibly the best Darwin Olympics Winner we’ve had.
*The movie “Superbad” follows three high school friends trying to get alcohol and head to a party when the one that was suppose to be getting the “legit-real-looking” fake ID, but instead gets one that says his name is McLovin.
THAT was the same fake ID Daniel had on him!!
. . . But wait, there’s more . . .
Daniel said he ordered the fake ID off of Amazon!! So . . . it wasn’t even a real fake ID . . . it was a souvenir item.
Had he just waited until his 21st birthday and used his legal ID, Daniel might not be facing the charges he just got hit with — possession of a fake ID, public intoxication, minor possession of alcohol, and being in a bar while underage.
