Just when you think certain public theories can’t get any weirder, this happens — Meanwhile in Pennsylvania . . . (No, this is not a winner in the Darwin Olympics, but maybe they should get the crown.)
An ABC affiliate in Scranton, Pennsylvania was doing a news segment, asking people to call in and give their opinions the other week, when one opinion stopped everyone in their tracks.
One viewer really wanted to comment on tornadoes, and their theory that the reason we’re seeing so many more tornadoes now than in years past is because, “We didn’t have tornadoes here until we started putting in the traffic circles . . . You wanna know why? When people go round and round in circles, it causes disturbance in the atmosphere, and causes tornadoes.”
(BTW, there is no scientific proof that people driving in circles causes tornadoes.)
