You Might Be Dating or Married to Someone Who Looks Like Your Mom or Dad

Weird to think about, right . . .

Turns out, according to a new study out of the Czech Republic, researchers found *couples gravitate subconsciously toward people who look like their folks.

The study found males tended to lean more towards ladies that resemble their mom, and females gravitated towards guys who resembled their dad.

The theory behind it is that our relationship with our parents is the first meaningful relationship in our lives, so we tend to imprint on certain characteristics.

Chances are you’re not going to come across an exact doppelganger of your mom or dad, but specific characteristics are what draws us in, especially eye color and hair color.

So, if your boyfriend, girlfriend, or spouse share some characteristics with your mom or dad . . .   it’s not a coincidence.

*This study looked at 950 heterosexual couples.
