According to a new survey, about half of people consider themselves FOODIES.  So what does it take to be a foodie?  Here are the top qualifications . . .

1.  You genuinely enjoy cooking.

2.  You don’t always rely on recipes and you like experimenting in the kitchen.

3.  You know where different cuts of meat come from.

4.  You know how to do things like debone a fish and make pasta from scratch.

5.  You avoid ready-made meals and sauces.

6.  You go on vacations for the food.

7.  You’ve eaten at a Michelin-star restaurant.

8.  You read food blogs and several people you follow on Instagram are chefs, bakers, and food bloggers.

9.  You own fancy knives, at least five different oils, and at least 30 spices.

10.  You know what crudités are and how to pronounce “crudités.”
