WATCH: Fletch & Jai Do Face Yoga…

Remember when your mom was like, “Stop making those faces or it’ll freeze that way!” Well, sorry not sorry. some of those faces can help us look younger, now.

That’s right. Step aside botox, there’s a new study pushing for “Face Yoga” and it’s exactly what it sounds like: yoga for your face.

Apparently, practicing Face Yoga for a few months can help you look three years younger. Oh, and did we mention it’s free?

If you think it sounds dumb, let us assure you, it looks even dumber, in the most glorious way possible. You really need to watch videos to see what you should be doing with your face, but here are a couple of the moves:

  1. The Cheek Lifter – Form an “O” shape with your mouth, kind of like you naturally do when you have an itch in your nose. Then smile big and wide with the corners of your mouth. Do it over and over again.
  2. The Eyebrow Lifter – Place three fingers from each hand on your brow bone, just under your eyebrows, and gently push up, forcing your eyes to open. Then, smile while pushing your brows down towards your fingers and hold for 30 seconds. Repeat this three times.

Back in the 90’s, they called it “Facercise” and it’s as magnificently awkward as it sounds.
