Would You Go Work At Your First Job Again?

When I was 14 I started working at a restaurant in Cleveland, Oh called Dina’s Pizza & Pub.  I went on to work there for the next 10 years.

I did everything from wash dishes, clean bathrooms, close the bar and deliver food.  I really enjoyed my time there but I don’t think I could go back.  The people I worked with aren’t there anymore and too many changes have happened.  Let’s be honest, it’s the people you work with that make the job fun.

My mom works there still as a manager, so she tells me how things are around there now and there is no way I could work there.  I am definitely appreciative of my time there as it taught me a lot about the restaurant industry but I couldn’t go back.

I can’t lie though, I would like to see how my pizza making skills still measure up since I haven’t made a pizza pie in almost 10 years.  I could fold a pizza box with the best of ’em.

The phone number to the restaurant is the only number I can remember to this day.  I made a lot of memories there, so I don’t need new ones.
