Not only is 2020 the start of a new decade . . . it’s going to be THE YEAR that amazing things happen.
You know we’re about to get hit hard with some stellar music from our favorite artists, and new artists are going to be coming our way with voices we didn’t even know we needed in our ear-holes.
Here are some other reasons 2020 is going to rock:
Valentine’s Day is on a Friday, so if you want to celebrate without the crowd or up-charged menu items, you have all weekend to get your celebration of love on!
Cinco de Mayo is happening on a Tuesday. HELLO!! Taco Tuesday totally upgraded!
Independence Day (July 4th) is on a Saturday this year!
Halloween is actually on a Saturday!! Oh, and its also the Blue Hunter’s Moon, the second full moon inside the month of October.
Christmas Day (2020) AND New Year’s Day (2021) are on FRIDAYS!!!
Oh, and we get not one, but TWO Friday the 13ths this year! The first one happens in March, and the second is happening in November.
There will be FOUR Supermoons in 2020 — February 9 . . . March 9 . . . April 8 . . . and May 7.
July 5th will bring us the Thunder Moon Eclipse . . . and we’ll be able to see it from North America (unlike the “Ring of Fire” solar eclipse happening on June 21 that will be best seen from Lalibela, Ethiopia).
On December 21st, the date of the winter solstice, it will be a special night to see something spectacular. It’s the Great Solstice Conjunction when Jupiter and Saturn will appear exceptionally close to each other . . . like an entrancing “double planet.” It’s something that only happens every 20 years, so it won’t be happening again until 2040.
